Design of a new, iconic water bus for urban transportation fit for rivers,
lakes, and offshore. 80% of the global population lives at coastlines or big
rivers.
Idea is a modern mobility concepts concentrate on e-cars, e-bikes, escooters
- including drones to relief, urban traffic, the water seems to
be almost untouched. There are some initiatives in Thailand and Scandinavia
but those concepts are mostly bigger ferries. We do believe that a
smaller concept (like city busses - which is a learned system) have more
chance to be realized. The entire concept shall have one design thinking.
Using bio-polymers (from algae, hemp-plastics etc). We want to offer the
water bus in different range models: for 15, 25, and 45 passengers. We
want the middle section to be replaced when getting bigger, which means
that bow and stern are the same in all models.

the SWATH hull:
A Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull, better known by the acronym SWATH, is a twin-hull ship design that minimizes hull
cross section area at the sea’s surface. Minimizing the ship’s volume near the surface area of the sea, where wave energy
is located, maximizes a vessel’s stability, even in high seas and at high speeds. The bulk of the displacement necessary to
keep the ship afloat is located beneath the waves, where it is less affected by wave action. Wave excitation drops exponentially
as depth increases, so wave action normally does not affect a submerged submarine at all. Placing the majority of a
ship’s displacement under the waves is similar in concept to creating a ship that rides atop twin submarines.
